Leonland - Leon Barnard

Chapter 5 > Year Two

My second year was really all about the academics. My previous year's roommates gone, I lived alone and took on more responsibility in the lab. I put in a lot of long hours on a research project, first setting up and running the study, then analyzing the data and writing papers on it. It was grueling, but ultimately rewarding, and a great experience to have under my belt. Over the summer I worked on applying to jobs on the West Coast and finally landed an interview for a job in L.A. that I would eventually get.
