Chapter 4 > The Metropolitan Museum of Art
I love being in New York and having access to so many cool things. Like great museums, for instance. The Metropolitan Museum of Art ("The Met") is really amazing. I took a great walk through Central Park and then spent a few hours in The Met one day. It was fabulous.
It was a cool, sunny day in Central Park and there were lots of people out.

A great place to relax. The grand scale of Central Park is almost as impressive as the scale of the buildings of midtown Manhattan.

Skaters at Wolman rink in Central Park. A really cool scene, with midtown in the background.

Some presumably very old busts in the museum.

I'm sorry, I don't remember who this is by, but I thought it was kind of cool. It was in the section devoted to modern artists.

A large Jackson Pollock painting.

"Bird in Space" by Constantin Brancusi. I like his stuff.

My "artistic" interpretation of a cool statue by Giacometti.

I'm mostly in to modern art, but I find stuff like this really cool too.

This may or may not be a Picasso, I don't remember. In any case, I think it's quite Picasso-esque.

There's a really nice area of the museum that has a sky light above it, I really like the effect of natural light on the statues.

This was also in the same area.
