Leonland - Leon Barnard
Chapter 2 > Scheveningen
This country is so cool. I drove an hour and a half at was at a beautiful beach on the North Sea, just past Den Haag. The walk I took along on the shore was very refreshing.
A view of the beach from the pier.
And from the shore.
This was pretty crazy. You pay a bunch of money to get flung into the air on a slingshot. You're attached though, so you come back safely.
The less crowded side of the beach.

This was kind of strange to see. There were huge hotels packed tightly all along the beach, then this little restaurant surrounded by grass.
There was a really cool caribbean festival going on with some great drummers and dancers.

Hi Leon,
I am glad that you enjoyed visiting Scheveningen! Nice pictures too! Although the weather is not as good as where you live, I can't live without going to the beach at least once a week. Even on a stormy day I enjoy trodding there with the dogs.
regards,
Corry
