My last trip for work was in the California Desert, about an hour North-East of LA. It felt kind of like a vacation being there, even though I was working about 10 hours a day. I guess I associate that climate with being on vacation.
My first stop after I got off the plane. I hadn't been in California for a few months and I was really craving a double-double.
This is just outside of Lancaster, coming down the mountain. Very flat and dry. It's the desert, all right.

I drove down to LA my last night here. I ended up at the pier in Santa Monica. A very So. Cal. place.

Everything I love and miss about California - mountains, beaches, the ocean. And a nice sunset on top of all that.

I thougth your pics were tite I was born in Lancaster, CA. It's a very normal place i mean if you like to hang out and party all the time.
