Leonland - Leon Barnard

Chapter 3 > The Marin Headlands

The Marin Headlands are directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. The County of Marin is a strong contrast to San Francisco, it's much less crowded and is covered with vegetation. The Headlands are a peaceful, easy get-away from the city, and are close enough to get a good view of it, along with the beautiful bridge.

Here is the Golden Gate Bridge with downtown San Francisco in the background.

Here is the view looking West as the San Francisco Bay becomes the Pacific Ocean.

One of my favorite views of the bridge, following the suspended cables across the bay to the city.
