Leonland - Leon Barnard
Chapter 4 > Gastonia, North Carolina
I took a brief trip to North Carolina for work in Februrary. I was working in Gastonia, a small town outside of Charlotte. It was fun, and it was a real contrast to New York, where I had moved to less than a week earlier.
A water tower in Gastonia, just as the sun was going down.

I took a short trip to a town called King's Mountain one afternoon. The rest of the pictures are from there. It was a very small, quaint town. Here's the main street.

A really pretty mural along one of the side streets.

I think this looks like a scene from the 1950's, it's nice to know that there are still places like this.

I thought this was really cool. The sun was shining through the glass in a furniture store window and displaying the text from the window on to the furniture. It was a really neat effect.
