Chapter 3 > Halloween in San Francisco
Halloween in the Castro district of San Francisco is famous for being wild, weird, and a lot of fun. I had never been, so I decided it was about time to see what all the hype was about. It was extremely crowded, but the sights more than made up for the difficulty in moving around.
This should give you an idea of how packed the streets were. Sometimes you just had to go where the flow of people was going, it was too hard to go upstream.

I witnesses the Sexy Nurses running in to the Drag Nurses and it was quite a spectacle. Somehow the beer made this scene seem a little more normal.
Some people had a little harder time getting in to the halloween spirit, like this guy on the cell phone. The other two people in the picture look like they're right at home though.
There was quite a party going on here, which made for an essential stop along the way to watch the festivities for a few minutes.
The extreme and the ordinary, that's one of the things that made this night so cool.
Something about this odd combination really fascinates me.
Halloween in the Castro is known to get a little naughty, as shown here by this one particular outfit. Good thing it wasn't very cold that night.
