Chapter 2 > Amsterdam
I took a 2 day trip to Amsterdam after my first week of work in The Netherlands. It was a welcome break in an beautiful city. I can't wait to return. And, lucky me, it's only 2 hours away.
A typical street scene; active, narrow streets.
One of the many canals lined with port-to-stern (I guess that would be the nautical equivalent of "bumper-to-bumper") houseboats.
This was pretty cool. He was juggling flaming torches while balancing two welded-together bikes on his chin.

The Statue of No Liberty. A funky sculpture in a funky city.
A quiet corner of the city.

Every once in a while we had to make sure to just stop and look around so that we wouldn't miss stuff like this. Just gorgeous.
