Chapter 2 > Almeerderzand Sand Sculpture Park
I saw an ad for a sand sculpture park that looked cool, so I hopped on a train on my day off and went. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. There's not much to say about it except "wow". See for yourself.
There was a Japanese theme this year.
Yes, these are all made entirely out of ordinary sand.
This sculpture was about 30 feet high.
I didn't think it was possible to be creeped out by a bunch of sand.
The level of detail was unbelieveable.
They even put a waterfall on the biggest sculpture, very daring.
A sandbox for aspiring designers.
