Leonland - Leon Barnard

Chapter 6 > San Francisco

My girlfriend and I planned a weekend get-away to celebrate my birthday and the completion of her first semester of school. We were both really looking forward to it and it didn't disappoint. We saw a bunch of great friends and spent most of our time in San Francisco, rather than Berkeley, our typical Bay Area destination. I got to experience areas of San Francisco that were new to me, which was the highlight for me.

A tiny fortune cookie factory in a skinny alley in Chinatown. They make cookies here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and give you tasty free samples as soon as you walk in.

I'm not quite sure that this guy was doing, but he looked cool doing it.

A gumball machine on Grant Avenue, Chinatown.

After we left Chinatown, we went to the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood to walk around. We stopped at this Internet cafe while we were there.

My favorite CD store in the world, Amoeba Music. The San Francisco store is my favorite of the three.

We headed up to Cole Valley for crepes before heading back to our hotel.

A short walk through Chinatown late at night.

A rest stop on the way back.
