Chapter 5 [2002-2004]
I attended graduate school in Atlanta between 2002 and 2004. Since I was in school, I didn't get to travel nearly as much as I did before. But that doesn't mean that I didn't do anything interesting. So the pictures from this chapter of my life are more mini life updates than elaborate adventures, like they were in previous chapters. I love traveling, so, of course, I left Atlanta many times while I lived there (mostly trips to New York and then LA to visit my girlfriend), but a lot of the pictures from this chapter are everyday scenes from my life.[Top of page]
Chapter 4 [2002]
In August of 2001 my girlfriend moved to New York from the Bay Area to fulfill her dreams. Being 3000 miles apart was getting frustrating, so, in February of 2002 I packed up all my stuff and moved out to Manhattan to be with her. What an incredible place! I kept the same job I had in California for a few months, only doing the traveling part of it, which was pretty cool. When I wasn't working, I was just taking it easy and enjoying all that New York City has to offer, which is a lot.The NY American Museum of Natural History - May 2002

One of the most impressive museums I've ever been to.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art - February 2002

The Met is one of the many reasons why New York is so cool.
Chapter 3 [2001]
I returned from living in The Netherlands in January, 2001 without much of a plan. After some thought, I decided to move back to the San Francisco Bay area, where I had attended school from 1995 - 1997. I love the Bay Area and I have some great friends there. I got to travel to lots of new places for work, which was a good way to explore the U.S.Halloween in San Francisco - October 2001

Chapter 2 [2000]
After I graduated college I did a work abroad project for 6 months in Veghel, a small town in the south of The Netherlands. Living abroad was an amazing, life-changing experience. It's a really tiny country and the train system is great, so it was easy to travel around within it. I also took a few trips outside of it.The arrival of Sinterklaas - November 2000

I feel very lucky to have experienced the very Dutch tradition of welcoming Sinterklaas to the Netherlands.

A week roaming the country with one of my best friends from home.
Chapter 1 [1997-2000]
